I've used Genie Recycling a couple of times in the past and never had a problem. This was about 2 years ago.

I decided to use them again as I was having a sort out. Firstly, the pack took ages to arrive and I had to chase it up. They said it was due to them moving premises.

I filled my bags and they were collected. On 2nd November my account was marked with "entry" and then how much was accepted and what my payment would be.

That is the last I have heard. I haven't had payment. I haven't had any emails letting me know what is going on. I was going to contact them on social media but they haven't used it since 2016.

I'm not sure if it's because they have become so overwhelmed that they cannot keep up with orders/payments or whatever, or if they are withholding funds deliberately, but I can see from other reviews here that I am not alone!

not happy have emailed no reply they automatically deduct 1kg even though I check the clothes every time they have not given b=me the weight for two bags only one and the money still hasent gone in the bank really not happy they used to be good not anymore!!!!! would help if they answered there emails

I requested 2 bags. The 1st one they came to collect and after few days i just received my payment and confirmation email. When i sended the 2nd bag, after 1 month they don't reply any email from me or answer my calls. The costumer service doesn't existe to be honest. Online, i can see that all my clothes was accepted and how much i should receive but i still with no money or answer

After looking at the site, I thought this website would be good to get rid of my unwanted clothes. I sent in 13kg of stuff, some of which was ver good quality, only 12kg was excepted which was £6.00. Would have earned more selling the clothes instead. My order was collected and processed on 19/06/2018 and month and a bit now and I have not received my money. I have emailed and send a number of messages but have not got an emails in return.

Do Not use this site, also they collect between 8-6pm and the guy didn't come till 5pm waited a whole day.

This is a waste of time and you don't get the money from them.

I which these reviews where more visible on the site, so other people know not to use them.

Don't waste your time. I am owed the grand total of 6.00, which I have spent hanging on to an unanswered phone. Have sent 3 E mails with no response.

I handed in around 15kg of clothing - only to be told I get 2.50 pounds because I had 5kg worth of clothes. I then wrote emails and got no reply. I also haven't even received my money for this service. Never using again. Absolutely disgusting.

I had my clothes collected a month ago and still had no payment. Tried ringing several times only to be kept on hold for ages and had to hang up as nobody was answering. Won't be using again.

I send 2 order 1 of them gone through perfectly and the second which picked up exactly same time order number HIZ0BDRZ still shows entry and valued for £6.50. I have sent countless messages and don’t want to call the tel number as I only use mobile and I only been with them on the phone 20 sec and cost me 52p. No one comes back to me no payment no respond at all. So very disappointed

I've used this site 3 or 4 times now and have found them good to their word.Sometimes a few items are rejected but that's probably my own fault for not checking everything properly.You maybe have to wait in for collection of the sacks but hey so what? I donate any money received to my chosen charity so am grateful for the amounts I get.Friends donate stuff and I collect and bag up ...easy!

So I received my pack and collection was on the day that I requested and stated payment via cheque. I can see the bag was accepted however I have not received payment for the sum stated. This was over a month ago. I sent a contact message, no response. I have had to put one star but if I could state zero stars I would. People don’t waste your time with them, offer your unwanted goods elsewhere.
